2.1. Student Report

2.2. Principals Report
Principals Hinrichs and Mezger reported on the 2025-2026 class schedule, assessments, elementary and high school student awards, and opening schedules for the fall of 2025.
2.3. Review Policy #5052 School Wellness Policy
The Board reviewed Policy #5052.

Superintendent Meyerle reported that all staff have been hired for 2025-2026.

Projects for the summer of 2025 are on schedule as previously discussed.
4.3. Accept milk bid from Hiland Dairy Foods as part of the Southeastern Milk Cooperative
Motion to accept milk bid from Hiland Dairy. Passed with a motion by Stuart Vitosh and a second by Kasey Murphy.

5. Superintendent Items
5.1. Superintendent Report
Superintendent Meyerle gave a report on developments at the state legislature. He also gave budget updates as we are 3/4 through the fiscal year.
He also discussed the school calendar with the Board. The Board adopts a calendar in alignment with the NSAA and their activities. He noted he takes calls from some patrons that wish school started earlier and some wish it started later. For 2025-2026, the first day of school is August 14 and the last day is May 22. The school year could end earlier by eliminating some days off during the year. Currently, the Board does not want to change the philosophy of the school calendar.

President Clifford adjourned the meeting at 6:45pm. The next regular Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 10 at 7:00pm at the elementary in Diller.
