Hi, my name is Chris Schluter, I am the Physical Education and Health teacher. I also hold the duties of Head Football Coach and Assistant Varsity Track Coach.

I grew up in Friend, Ne with my parents and two brothers. My parents and older brother still reside in Friend and have become strong Griffin supporters. My youngest brother and his wife, are both teachers and coaches at North Bend Central.

I graduated from Friend High School with a class of 36. While I attended Friend High School I participated in Football, Basketball, Golf, Youth Leadership, and was a member of the Student Council. I attended and played Football at Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, NE. I graduated from Midland Lutheran College in 2010 with a degree in Secondary Education with a K-12 Physical Education endorsement. In the spring of 2020, I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a Master’s Degree in PK-8 School Principalship.

My wife Jamie, son Ty, daughter Atley, and I currently reside in Odell and plan on spending many years in the Diller-Odell School system. I thoroughly enjoy the Diller-Odell community and the support the communities show our school system.
