Duties/School Organizations: 7-8 English, Spanish Monitor, JH/HS Quiz Bowl, Griffin News Network Coordinator, STEM Club Sponsor, Class of 2026 Sponsor, DOEA, and Negotiation Team Member

This is my 19th year teaching at Diller-Odell. I graduated from Peru State College in 2006. There I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I also received endorsements in middle school language arts, music, physical education, and coaching. I am originally from Liberty, Nebraska and I graduated high school from Lewiston Consolidated Schools in 2001.

Since my hiring in 2006, I have taught Kindergarten, 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, and now teach 7th and 8th grade English, JH/HS Quiz Bowl Team, and Griffin News Network Coordinator for Live-streaming school events. 

My wife Stephanie and I live in Hickman. Our sons Everett (junior) and Canaan (freshman) will be attending Standing Bear and daughter Kinley (5th grader) will attend Freeman. I spend most of my time running them to football, baseball, gymnastics, and anywhere else they need to go. I enjoy going to the movies, playing golf, fishing, watching baseball and football, and being with my friends and family.
