Ms. Deena Day
My name is Deena Day and I am a Math Teacher at Diller-Odell High School! I am beginning my 5th year here at Diller-Odell; my 38th year overall! I earned my Bachelor's Degree from University of Nebraska at Kearney, and my Master's Degree from Peru State College. I began my teaching career at Lewiston, and then moved to Kansas, where I continued to teach and coach. The classes I teach are: Math 7, Pre-Algebra, 2 sections of Geometry, College Credit College Algebra, Probability and Statistics, Interventions, and General Math. I have 3 children: Misty, Mindy and Tyler. Misty is a stay-at-home mom. She has 2 boys: Mitch Jr. who is 4 and Maxton, who is 2. She lives in Florida with her husband Mitch, who is the women's basketball coach at Chipola College. Mindy is an elementary school teacher in Pleasanton, KS. Her and her husband have 4 boys: Easton who is 10 years old, Brady is 9, Ladd is 5, and Cole is 3. Tyler lives in Iola, KS. He is a County Deputy Sheriff. |
