2.1. Principal Report
Principal Mezger and Principal Hinrichs gave a report on the first day of Inservice and the upcoming start of the school year.

Superintendent Meyerle noted that Christie Morgan will serve as a small vehicle driver on routes this year as well as being a para.

Superintendent Meyerle noted that summer projects were completed which included the resurfacing and painting of the track and epoxy flooring in the shop.  For the most part, the summer was spent on general maintenance of the facilities.

5.1. Superintendent Report
Superintendent Meyerle reported on some issues surrounding the beginning of school.  He reported on what he knew regarding the special session of the legislature and shared his concerns about some of the bills that were being presented.  He noted that he feared that the more the state takes over school finance, that his fears would grow over the state pushing for school consolidation.  He noted, that there is no need for Diller-Odell to consider consolidation due to our stability in enrollment and finances in the current system.

A Special Meeting on Americanism and Budget Planning will be held at 6:00pm August 21, 2024 at the Elementary School Media Center in Diller.  The Board of Education will usually adhere to the sequence of the published agenda, but reserves the right to adjust the order of items if necessary and may elect to amend the agenda as deemed necessary.

 

 

 

The next Regular Board Meeting is scheduled for 7:00pm or at the conclusion of the annual Budget Hearing and Tax Request hearings on September 9, 2024 at the Elementary Media Center in Diller.  The 2024-2025 Budget Hearing is scheduled for 6:30pm and the Tax Request hearing at 6:45pm or at the conclusion of the budget hearing.  The Board of Education will usually adhere to the sequence of the published agenda, but reserves the right to adjust the order of items if necessary and may elect to amend the agenda as deemed necessary.
