2. Instruction and Related Items
2.1. Student Report
Sidney Engelman, Sophomore, provided an update on recent student activities. Congratulations to the Girls basketball team for finishing third in the Class A MUDECAS Basketball Tournament and third in the Pioneer Conference Tournament. Congratulations to the Boys basketball team for finishing third in the Class B MUDECAS Basketball Tournament. Congratulations to the Speech team for finishing third in the MUDECAS Speech meet. The Board is proud of the participation and the success of our students in all activities. The spring promises to be busy with activities in speech, track, the new coop in baseball with Beatrice, FFA, FBLA, Quiz Bowl, music contests and field trips.
2.2. Principals Report
The Principal report provided information on Continuous School Improvement, testing, and adjustments at the elementary to accommodate the remodel of the entry.
2.3. Approve 2025-2026 School Calendar

The last day of school will be Friday, May 22, 2025. Seeing that, the teacher workday at the conclusion of the school year will be Tuesday, May 26. The day after Memorial Day.

Administrative salaries for 2025-2026 will be: Superintendent Meyerle $177,000. Principal Mezger $122,720. Principal Hinrichs $88,400.

Superintendent Meyerle gave an update on the elementary remodel. Work is on schedule to be completed by June. Summer projects are generally minor ones for 2025.
