Science Fun
This semester in Mr. Garcia's science class has gone by very quickly. We have done a few different labs with the students. The Biology class did an osmosis and diffusion lab where they tie-dyed shirts using rubbing alcohol and colored Sharpie markers. In the Forensics class Officer Hager helped teach the students about fingerprinting. He will also be coming in to help with learning about ballistics, investigations, and other topics in forensic science.
The Exploratory class recently completed a lab where the students had to measure out different liquids to find the density of different materials. We look forward to the second semester where the Exploratory class will compete at ESU 5 in the annual Robotics Competition once again this year.
