Jefferson County Spelling Bee 2024
On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, the Jefferson County Spelling Bee was held at the fairgrounds in Fairbury. In the morning the 7th and 8th graders had their competition. Ten Griffins participated in the event with five 7th graders and five 8th graders. In the end, Diller-Odell had two students place in the top 10. Lucy (7th) earned 10th place and (8th) Zach earned 9th place. The other participants were 8th grade- Libby, Liam, Creyton, Hannah; 7th grade- Catie, Bria, Lilly, Logan. Congratulations to all the students who participated and to the two who placed.
