A lot of preparation went into cover letters and resumes throughout Business Communications class, the first semester.  A class of 14 sophomores, the group worked hard throughout the fall months to finally lead up to Mock Interviews in December.  They each had one interview at the school where volunteers came in to work with the students.  A big "shout out" to those who helped:  Kayla Schnuelle, Amie Hackler, Eileen Kostal, and Tammy Weers.  Your assistance was great and very much appreciated!  

The following week, the class traveled to Beatrice where they met with various businesses and also held mock interviews.  Each student had two interviews to prepare for, at two separate businesses.  The class then prepared their follow-up letters to send out to those people that interviewed them.

Even though a great deal of work was involved, Business Communications definitely benefited by preparing and conversing with adults outside of school.
