One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish

Over the last few weeks, the Kindergarten students have been working hard at solving addition and subtraction math equations.  They have played games, used manipulatives to solve story problems and they also showed what they know independently on IXL.  With Dr. Seuss week approaching, first we shared the book "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish", and then we went on a little fishing trip!  Students caught their fish, read the equation on the back of the fish, and then solved the equation, using their goldfish crackers. Fishing can sure make you hungry, so of course we had to eat what we caught! Learning is so much fun! - Mrs. Hennerberg
