Preschool to the Beatrice Fire Station
Our Diller-Odell Preschool class had an exciting field trip to the Beatrice Fire Station! The day was filled with learning and laughter as we explored the important work that firefighters do.
When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly firefighters who welcomed us with big smiles. They showed us around the station and explained how they keep our community safe. We learned about the different fire trucks and even saw one up close! The bright red truck was so tall, and we were amazed by all the buttons and hoses.
One of the firefighters told us about what to do in case of a fire. He reminded us always to stay calm and not get scared. The captain even put on his fire gear to show us how it works. We all gasped as he transformed into a superhero!
We learned that being a firefighter takes bravery and teamwork.
We left the Beatrice Fire Station feeling inspired and grateful for all the daily hard work the firefighters do. It was a wonderful day full of learning, and we can’t wait to share what we learned with our families! Thank you, Beatrice Fire Station, for a memorable visit!
