1.4. Approve minutes of last meeting

2. Instruction and Related Items

2.1. Student Report
Creyton Heidemann provided a student report that included an update on activities in basketball, speech, quiz bowl and FFA.

2.2. Principals Report
Principals Hinrichs and Mezger were not in attendance and provided a written report to the Board.

2.3. Approve Senior Sneak Schedule
Motion to approve the Senior Sneak Day Passed with a motion by Adam Engelman and a second by Stuart Vitosh.

The Board approved the Senior Sneak trip to Omaha on May 6.

2.4. Approve Bus purchase for 2026-2027
Motion to approve bus purchase for next year. Passed with a motion by Josh Carpenter and a second by Alissa Andersen.

The new bus will be an activity bus.  One of the current activity buses will move to being a route bus next year.

3.1. Accept resignation of Reba Dresen from teaching position at end of the school year

The Board and administration wish Mrs. Dresen the best with her new opportunities.  Her efforts and dedication as a teacher and a coach for eight years in the school district are much appreciated.

3.2. Approve Classified wages for 2026-2027
Motion to approve classified wages for 2026-2027 Passed with a motion by Stuart Vitosh and a second by Alissa Andersen.

Superintendent Meyerle noted that the HS classrooms and hallways were upgraded to LED lighting.

The Board discussed the upcoming NRCSA conventions where they will have the opportunity to attend sessions on legislative, financial and social issues.  It also gives them an opportunity to visit with legal counsel and vendors.
