National Safety Council Driver's Education Class
Attention students who have or will have a school, learner's, or provisional driver's permit: The National Safety Council is offering driver's education class this summer and would love to have you become a safer and more responsible driver. The online portion of the class will be taken before the driving portion of the class. This takes 35-45+ hours to complete with tests and instruction and it must be completed before you drive. You are given 30 days to complete this and your progress over those 30 days will be monitored. You then do the driving portion during the summer beginning in late May. You will be selecting your drive time for the summer at the time of your registration. This includes five hours of behind-the-wheel experience and a final driving test. Parents of 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th graders have been sent an email with more detailed information. This will also be in school websites and other communications. There are 57 summer spots open so don't wait to get registered. More may be added if the need arises. Registration opens Tuesday, March 18, 2025.
