The D-O JV Girls Basketball team got 2nd place at the Falls City Sacred Heart JV Basketball Tournament on January 25th!  In the first round, the girls defeated HTRS, (Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer) in a hard-fought contest.  The championship game was Diller-Odell against Pawnee City.  The D-O JV Girls got off to a slow start in the championship game but never gave up and outscored Pawnee City the rest of the game.  We even held Pawnee City scoreless in the 4th quarter, but unfortunately, we still came up a little short.  This D-O JV Girls team has shown improvement all season.  I’m proud of them for their determination and “Grit”.  In all three tournaments we played in this season, this team played in the championship game.  I look forward to seeing what they accomplish the rest of this year and in the years to come.  Congratulations to the D-O JV Girls Basketball Team!!
